“JUST A CLOSER WALK WITH JESUS"
Grace and mercy be unto you and peace from God our Father, and from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In light of an ever-changing world with new challenges and greater dangers, our goal and purpose here at New Zion is to gain a closer walk with Jesus. We are determined to continue to preach and teach the word of God with clarity and power—rightly diving truth, that we are able to meet the ever-expanding needs of the children of God to be an effective witness in a dying world that is in need of everlasting life. My prayer is that God will continue to lead and guide the believers, and may we continue to strive to walk with the Lord in the coming years, expanding our ability to not only minister to those in need, but also to aid us in our efforts as we continue to proclaim the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. I thank God and the Lord Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit, that I have been allowed to see the spiritual growth and maturity in this congregation. This has been my primary goal as your Pastor/Preacher/Teacher, to see lives spiritually transformed through the preaching and teaching as the believers continue in hearing and doing the Word. As the Pastor I truly believe that the Word of God is a divine prescription for the church. As a body of believers let us take, eat and drink as prescribed by God.
Let us all be encouraged by the words of the Apostle Paul as recorded in Hebrews 12:1-3—Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. BE STRONG IN THE LORD AND IN THE POWER OF HIS MIGHT!
May Almighty God Bless You and Keep You
